Visual Identity

this is no ordinary place
Six Hundred West Main is a luxury apartment building in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia. Born of an artistic spirit, the forward-thinking, distinctly modern design of Six Hundred West Main reimagines downtown living in Charlottesville.
Inspired by the founders’ story and style, the brand identity is equal parts sophistication and rock n’ roll. The tone is modern, refined, dark, and rebellious. The tall, minimal logotype echoes the architecture lines of the building and finds balance in edgier, artistic marketing and collateral pieces which reflect the artistic vision of the founders.
Six Hundred West Main sits next door to its sibling building / brand, Six Twelve. The buildings share outdoor, common areas and the brands are designed to compliment one another. Six Hundred West Main is dark and edgy, while Six Twelve is quiet and understated.
